The Guild meets several times each month.  Monthly guild business meetings include a show and tell presentation by any member who wishes to share a project and a short instructional program. Informal sewing bees are devoted to work on individual projects or occasionally a class for those who are interested.  The meeting place for all of these meetings is the upstairs conference room at the Duke Power (Cinergy) building.

Quilts Along the Wabash Quilt Show

We sponsor a quilt show, “Quilts Along the Wabash” every even -numbered year.  Guild members and other residents of the surrounding areas are invited to display  their  lovely  quilts. The Guild sponsors a “Country Store” at the show where we sell a large variety of hand-made items donated by our members.  The show also features a “Challenge” block or quilt.  The show is held each autumn in Terre Haute, IN.

Old-Fashioned Days

Each autumn the Guild participates in “Old Fashioned Days” at Collett Park.  This event, sponsored by the Parks Department, is an opportunity for the Guild to display quilts and for members manning the display to discuss the art of quilting with people attending.  On a brisk fall afternoon this is an enjoyable activity. It’s held in mid-October.
